Full CD ISO

Basic CD ISO (Only base system)

How to install ISO

  1. We need a flash or CD / DVD with a free space about 300MB
  2. For Windows:
    1. Download tool such as PowerISO
    2. Install it and open downloaded ISO in it.
    3. Make a bootable flash or burn it to CD / DVD
    4. Wait till its complete
  3. For Linux:
    1. Open terminal
    2. Issue command "dd bs=4M if=/path/to/arclinux.iso of=/dev/sdx status=progress && sync" where sdx is flash or CD / DVD
    3. Wait till its complete
  4. Do not take it out
  5. Turn off your computer
  6. Start you computer and press F12 to enter Boot Manager
  7. Select drive with ISO
  8. Select option Install system
  9. Fill requested informations such as hostname, user, user password and root password
  10. Configure partitions and select boot partition and location of /home and /root folder
  11. Select what Desktop Enviroment you want
  12. Select what packages you want or skip it if you want to do it later
  13. Configure your region for faster downloading of packages
  14. You can configure selected packages now with Yes, or later with No
  15. If you want to have grub, select it's options, otherwise skip
  16. Your system is installed
